Hi,

Trying to do this quest but I just can't get down off the cliffs to rescue the Ascalon prisoners. Been trying for ages lol

Any help would be great.

Attached a screenshot if its any help.

looks like you took a wrong turn there huh.

After you come to the first area when you have to cross the tar stream, after you kill the boss in that area and his guys you will just head right, but stay on the lower path, i dont ever bother going up the hill which will be on your left.

The next set of baddies you can take a right and that path should lead you down into the creek bed which is where you will need to be. Just follow your arrow and if you want press "u" at anytime to see your mini-map.

If you are still having problems tonight after 7 p.m. central time send me an im and I can help walk you through it if you need, my in game name is listed to the left here.

use your map and backtrack.

i dont know how you got there but the path is simple.

go past the devourers past the first char and down the slope to the left as it curves than follow it right to the first captives over the bridge

I didnt cross any tar streams, and strangely - I don't have an arrow for this quest o.O

this is a mission not a quest.

missions do not have arrows

its a shame missions don't... would help for some bonus as to where to go lol.

Oh for the bonus on this mission, you'll see a green dot off by itself on your map as you look for a way to lower the draw bridge for Rurik. go over there and talk to the person who mentions flame charr with a bonus if you kill them. Well you need to follow a group of charr (keep them out of your circle) as they will attack you and not open the gate you need them to open to get to the flame charr. Once you kill them, go lower the gate for Rurik.
